Ashfields History
In the early sixties Ashfields
was a dairy farm holding 400 head of cattle. It had a large farm house and a few farm
cottages which have now been sold off separately.
Ashfields' previous owners then bought it
and turned it into an equestrian yard and polo club, converting many of the barns into
stables.

This was when Terry Chambers bought Ashfields, the barns were beyond repair and planning
permission was applied for and granted which was the start of the long job of converting
them into modern stables.

But the work is still continuing. In Summer 2008 our new indoor school will be completed
offering yet more facilities for Ashfields' clients.
