Facilities
Available at Ashfields Carriage & Polo Club
Ashfields has 40 acres of flat grass
land which we hire out for shows and events.
Hallingbury Riding
Club are based here and
hold their events here through-out the summer
season.
Ashfields Polocrosse Club are also based at Ashfields,
holding their tournaments and training
here.
Driving is very much the predominant
sport held at Ashfields with training
facilities being first class, including 8
international standard obstacles, flat
well maintained dressage arenas and cones
course.

Ltd. is Ashfields' own on-site shop
supplying all your driving equipment. Our
online
shop is now
fully operational.
Training
Wilf
Bowman-Ripley is the in house trainer and
has been competing at the top level of
carriage driving since his early
twenties. Wilf began driving as an
eight-year-old and for a spell worked
under his uncle, the renowned George
Bowman.

Wilf
is the 2008 Horse Pairs British
National Champion, winning with
his young pair Vito and Vinnie
(pictured left and below).This
was no mean feat in their first
season! |
| Wilf
was also champion in 1996/97 and
in 1997, along with fellow team
mates George Bowman iv and Andrew
Williams, they won the world
pairs championships in Germany. |
